To say Paula wears a lot of hats at the firm would be an understatement. We could write several pages about her responsibilities, but here’s a quick synopsis: Legal Assistant to Michael and Sree; calendar and schedule maintenance; document and file management; oversight of IT, bookkeeping, and outside vendors; and prioritization of workflows. Paula also greets and assists clients when they visit the office and keeps the office itself humming at peak efficiency.
Whew.
Fortunately, Paula’s experience, organizational skills, and personable nature allow her to handle her myriad responsibilities with aplomb. Before joining Amoruso & Amoruso LLP in 2014, she was a paralegal at a mid-sized law firm for over 25 years and served as Executive Assistant at a local bank for six years. Paula is able to ensure everything is completed in a timely manner throughout the office because she is a self-described “insufferable nag” when it comes to follow-up.
A lifelong New Yorker, Paula was born and raised in New York City. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Ithaca College, she resided in Tarrytown. She now makes her home in Putnam County.
Paula and her husband, Jeff, were married in 1984 and are the proud parents of two adult children. They recently adopted a retired Greyhound, Ravi. In addition, Paula and Jeff provide an entirely inadequate level of attention and service to their demanding Siamese cat, Albert.
In her free time, Paula enjoys reading, trivia, and word games, particularly crossword puzzles in the New York Times. Her reading list includes cookbooks, where she finds mouthwatering recipes for other people to prepare. Paula looks forward to a rejuvenating beach vacation every year and can often be persuaded to climb about a fishing charter.
